A message to our supporters:

When I started this journey over a year ago, I knew it would be challenging.  What I didn’t know, was how exhilarating, frustrating, and uplifting it would be.  Our team knocked almost 20,000 doors in the district since January.  We had thousands of conversations with people across our community, of every political persuasion.  We had some really great conversations, and some not so great ones.  We heard stories of struggle, heartbreak, and resilience.  We heard anger, resentment, hope, and joy.  Through it all, we built friendships and reminded voters that they do have a choice, that there is such a thing as democracy, and that the reality is we are all more alike than we are different.  We have shown that we can make a difference in our community by reaching across lines to speak with people where they are, about what matters to them.

I am immensely proud of my team, our supporters, and our community.  The effort and long hours spent meeting people where they are resulted in our campaign having the second largest positive improvement in all races throughout the state.  We gained more votes than any Democratic candidate for our district since 2016.  I attribute that to the hard work of my amazing staff and our incredible volunteers, to all those that donated to our campaign, and to you, our voters.

You did the work through:

  • speaking with your friends and family and sharing our message

  • sending your dollars to support our efforts

  • showing your excitement with our signs in your yard

  • your dedication to get to the ballot box and cast a vote for change

Thank you.

This isn’t the end.  We have made Democrats in our area remember they are not alone.  We have helped everyone realize that politics is about people, not a party.  We will keep working to share our message and put people over politics in our state for the future of our community and our children.

So remember to breathe, take some time to rest and refit, then get back out there.  That's exactly what I'll be doing.

See you at the doors!

Working for the People of

House District 26

I am a Veteran and a leader.  As the Democratic candidate running for Oklahoma State House District 26, I am committed to making a positive difference in our community. I believe that by working together, we can create a better future for all of us.  I am passionate about public service and spent 23 years in the Army, defending our great nation.  I am a veteran, not a politician.  I will lead the way in supporting and defending a better future for all Oklahomans.

Committed to our community and our state,  I am running because I believe that we need leaders who will put people first.  As a Democrat, I believe that government should be a force for good and a source of hope.  I will fight for educational opportunities, affordable healthcare, improving small business opportunities and economic development, increasing availability and access to affordable housing, and policies to improve the lives of all Oklahomans.

I am proud to be a resident of Shawnee, and committed to serving the people of this district with honesty, integrity, and transparency.

John F. Kennedy stated, "For in a democracy, every citizen, regardless of his interest in politics, 'holds office'; every one of us is in a position of responsibility; and, in the final analysis, the kind of government we get depends upon how we fulfill those responsibilities.  We, the people, are the boss, and we will get the kind of political leadership, be it good or bad, that we demand and deserve."  We deserve better leadership.  I am that leader for House District 26.
